Web Server
A Web server is a program that provides Web pages to users over the Internet. Web servers use the
client/server model and the World Wide Web's Hypertext Transfer Protocol (
HTTP) to fulfill requests, which come from users through their Web browsers. The term Web server is also used to refer to the computer that the Web server program and content material reside on.
