Web Browser

A Web browser is a software program that enables users to look at and interact with the information available on the World Wide Web. Widely known examples are Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator. A Web browser is a client program, and uses the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) to make requests of Web servers throughout the Internet on behalf of the user. It receives and interprets the replies, and displays the results for the user.
