Web Browser
A Web browser is a software program that enables users to look at and interact with the information available on the World Wide Web. Widely known examples are Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator. A Web browser is a client program, and uses the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (
HTTP) to make requests of Web servers throughout the Internet on behalf of the user. It receives and interprets the replies, and displays the results for the user.
