Regression Testing
This phase of testing involves the testing of defects that were fixed by the development team. It involves using the functional testing, consisting of the application test case test-bed, done to ensure that what was fixed did not break some other part of the application.
A comprehensive re-test of a system, subsystem or component, after a modification has been made.
